New life boat LIFE project "Marine Protected Areas in the Eastern Baltic Sea" enabled ichthyologists to renew equipment. First minutes on the water! ©Markus Vetemaa	Invasive gibel carp Prussian or gibel carp (Carassius gibelio) was first found in the Estonian waters in 1985. Today, however, this invasive species is very abundant almost everywhere in the coastal sea. It is not yet known has this explosion impacted other fish species.
